I am left feeling absolutely stunned after watching American Idol. Ok, first of all, there has been a lot going on behind the scenes. Apparently, Trenyce has got a criminal record, and Corey too. I was quite surprised that Corey was booted off the show because of his criminal record, but I guess that's his fault for not telling the producers, although I must say that I'm rather happy he got booted off because I think he just can't sing. Then, after watching the episode (Disco Week, and Simon is worse than ever), I thought either Rickey or Joshua should go. Those three who polled the lowest shocked me. Kimberley, Trenyce (what!!!) and Carmen! I don't think they deserved to be there. I thought Carmen would go because she's like the weakest among the three. Kimberley was rightfully sent back, then left only Trenyce and Carmen. Personally, I thought Trenyce polled quite low because of her criminal record. Anyway, they were each asked to perform one more time to show the people who did not vote for them what they had missed. At this point, I knew something was up. Normally, contestant would only perform after he/she had known that he/she had got booted off. Anyway, then when it was time to announce the results, Ryan just babbled on about how they had lost Corey, and I thought this can't be true.. But it was. No one was booted off. Hmm.. I think they might be trying to save Trenyce, because whoever polled the lowest certainly didn't deserve to be booted off. Oh well, show goes on I guess. Next week will be interesting. Will that mean more people will vote for the three of them to save them? I just hope that Clay (my favourite) will be all right.
Another thing that kinds of surprises me is that England won Turkey 2-0. I'm not trying to sound like I'm underestimating their ability or something. But based on recent performances, I thought England would have problems with Turkey. An insipid 2-0 win over what-the-heck-is-dat-country. I'm pleasantly surprised they won. Haha. Guess it's good news for all England fans (including me).
