Soccer Updates
Heh, from now on, I have promised to put in every single one of MU's match results here... So here goes...
Last Saturday, MU beat Blackburn 3-1. Haha...too bad Arsenal won 2-0 too, so MU couldn't catch up on the goal difference... They could actually have scored more, like 10. I recalled my friend Huiling jumping up and down when Nistelrooy missed and hit near both sides of the posts. Haha..that's what she told me anyway... Halfway time I called her..she let me listen to those commentators on espn..haha...though i couldnt really catch the english accent stuff.
Thursday morning....MU beat Real Madrid 4-3. Wanted to watch the match, but my mum is here, really missed a quality match. Oh well... i'll try to catch the match highlights tomorrow... but really...I had mixed feelings about this result. On one hand, Real Madrid won 6-5 on aggregate (thus, MU is out of the Champions League), but then, MU actually managed to beat Real. Which I think is a great accomplishment. Haha, but then again, I really missed a wonderful match. Argh!!! If only my mum will change her mindset and realise that there ARE actually girls who watch soccer. Sigh. I actually managed to wake up at 4.30am on cue and heard Huiling sms-ing me the result. haha. MU deserves to win at least something this season, and I am confident that they will win the EPL.

Phew!!!
Finally...I can actually go home and relax. Phew!!! A week of 3 tests is finally over. I mean of course, there are still a lot more WORK, but for the time being at least, I am just going to chill out. Just watched the American Idol episode that I recorded on Thursday. Finally, Carmen is booted off!!! After like 3 weeks at least? She's such a horrible singer, didnt understand why she could stay week after week. I'm still rooting for Clay... Went to dentist today after school. Braces were tightened..ouch!! It's more painful than usual. And he added some rubber band thingy..so weird..cant eat properly with it..oh well..let's see, I've been wearing braces for around 5 months, I think, which means still one more year of braces!!!

*sigh*
What a bad bad day yesterday was. First, I was greeted in the morning by the news that MU drew with Arsenal 2-2. What angered me was the fact that THAT henry scored from an offside position. Argh!!! Oh well..but I believe that there'll be a retribution somewhere down the line..haha. Then, I learnt that Project Work was an A level exam subject. Who ever heard of that? I was totally shocked, didn't expect it. But that's not so bad compared to the soccer result. And I was down with flu. Sick. Couldn't play basketball properly. Then, when I got home from school, asked my mum whether I'll be allowed to go out. At first she said OK, then she changed her mind, saying I'm still sick, need plenty of rest at home, etc etc. I totally couldn't get her to change her mind. Ended up arguing with her, obviously I lost. So, now, I'm stuck at home, while the rest are probably at east coast park. *sigh* again. I'll probably be so bored today. What to do? No one is online now. All that flu's fault. Haha. If that's not enough, watched American Idol last night, I still think Carmen deserved to go home last night, but instead, it was Kimberly. I admit that Kim is not such a good singer compared to the rest, but still, she's much much better than Carmen. Argh!!! I will miss Kim on the show.

5 more to go!!!
MU beat Newcastle 6-2 away!!! Given the fact that Newcastle supposedly has the best home record until last night and that MU has just been beaten 3-1 by Madrid, I think the win was absolutely fantastic!!! Heh, bring on Arsenal man!!! Hmm... some friend also told me that MU will beat Madrid 2-0 at home, some match-fixing stuff, but I dreamt last night, something like Madrid scored 2 goals and MU was looking for its fourth. Oh well...haha...

Basketball
Played basketball today, it was quite fun. Although I'm seriously lousy at shooting, my accuracy is gone. But I fell down halfway, and now my ankle is still painful. Sigh..

Bad Day
What can I say? It's been a day. Day started at 2.30am when my alarm clock rang, time to watch the Real Madrid-MU match. But somehow, I was contemplating if I should watch because I have this feeling that if I watch, MU is going to perform badly (which they did, lost to Real 1-3). But anyway, I went ahead and watch because this is one of the rare times I can actually watch soccer in the wee hours of the morning, my mother and brothers are still back home. It was pure horror watching the first half because even though I enjoy watching Real players' skills, MU was getting absolutely tortured. Luckily, they improved in the second half but still conceded a stupid goal. And Real had 2 good claims for penalties turned down. Haha, but at least they scored an away goal. Now they only need to win 2-0 at Old Trafford. Not to say that the task is gonna be easy or anything, at least it's something... Then, after the match, I guess I was still high on adrenaline, couldn't sleep at all, for 1 1/2 hours, I was like down there trying to sleep. Sigh.. Maybe I made a mistake in waking up to watch the match. But I won't be able to watch the second leg cos my mum will still probably be here. So I hope they can perform better. Haha.

Then, today, we were supposed to wear HC uniform to school. Obviously, as today is a bad day, I wore it wrongly, got laughed by my classmates. Haha. Not that I care anyway. The blouse was OK, but the skirt was too long for me!! And I didn't fold out the blouse properly. Argh!! Stupid skirt... for that size, it's too long. What can I do? Had to fold the skirt and fold out the blouse...so troublesome. The fact that I actually haven't worn a skirt for goodness how long definitely tells. Argh!! At least I had some experience wearing the skirt, although I was very embarrassed just now. Sigh.. What's past is past.

I'm still in holiday mood, don't feel like going to school at all. Been sleeping at 2, 3 am, wonder how long it'll take to adjust back. But seriously, I'm getting sick of school, no interest in school, and I think I am getting addicted to computer, as in going online for hours without fail every night. Don't even know what I do online. Haha. But there's at least 8 more weeks of school!!! Argh!!! *groan*

Dread
School starts tomorrow. I'm dreading it. Don't know why, but I just am. On the bright side, i'll be wearing my hc uniform tomorrow (not that that it's a great thing or anything, but still..), hope a lot of people will wear it, then it'll be more fun. Which means I have to say goodbye to my MG uniform, which is so sad. I really truly will miss my MG uniform.

OK, think I better sleep now, cos waking up early tomorrow morning to watch soccer match. Hope MU can win Real Madrid. But then, don't know if I can sleep or not. Since I already slept in the afternoon and nowadays, I sleep at 2, 3 am. Heh...

All Good Things Have to Come to an End
Haha..I guess that saying is true. After high hopes of Ferrari winning the Brazilian GP, I am left to seeing Kimi Raikkonen taking the chequered flag for the second consecutive time. Not that I mind him winning, I actually do quite like him - at least he's better than Montoya in terms of attitude, but I was hoping that Ferrari had gotten through its bad patch and would start winning again. Especially since one of its drivers is a Brazilian. Argh!! Now they're 25 pts behind McLaren in the standings I guess, but it's only the 3rd race, so I guess it's still quite OK. They're probably going to play catch-up later on, like MU has been doing to Arsenal practically this whole season. But the thing is, Ferrari didn't even get a single point from this whole race, as both their drivers crashed out. What happened to last season's Ferrari that was so dominant? I guess it's got something to do with the new rules, which, frankly speaking, I find quite ridiculous.

Oh well. Worse news, school starts in 2 days' time. It's not that I've been enjoying this holidays that much, but I much rather prefer to have holidays than school. No stress, a lot of freedom. Though I have to admit that this holidays, I've been practically rotting to boredom. Yeah, but who wants school to start? At least not me...

Regret?
I think i am feeling a tinge of regret not going back home during this extended break. The true reason I didnt want to go back home was the unlimited access to the computer =). With my brothers around, I am limited to only using the computer late at night as they will be hogging the computer for hours playing cs and chatting. But I miss playing tennis. I know I can play here, but I don't have the mood to actually go out and play tennis. I know my brothers back home are like playing tennis 4 times a week. Hey, I want that too! Another thing, I am so lonely here. I know my friends are all here, but most of them are grounded, and I really do miss my family and people back home. I don't think I am that close with the class. As in, I feel quite weird. Don't ask me why. I really feel that sense of loneliness today, miss not only my family, but also my MG friends. Don't know why. I think I really do miss the times we talk about crap. I can really talk about a lot of stuff to them, common interests you may say. From TV shows like Friends, Alias, CSI, Amazing Race, Survivor, Bachelor, Fear Factor, American Idol, Smallville to soccer, NBA, Formula 1, tennis, MU vs Liverpool rivalry to music-wise as well like Blue, Linkin Park, Avril Lavigne, etc. We just connect. I miss those old times. Really quite different with people in HC. I think we do not really have any common interests. If there are any, it is very few. And, truthfully, now, I feel strange talking to the senior class people. Don't know why, just that strange, weird feeling. Sigh... Another thing, by staying here and not going back, I think I'm really doing a lot of damage to my health. Sleeping at 3am is unheard of when my mother is around. Looking back, I would much rather have enough sleep than having more than enough time to go online and to put it, waste my time. But I guess, you can't turn back the time and gotta move on. My mother and brothers will be back on Saturday. It's only a mere 6 days away, so I try not to think about it too much. But then, something about sleeping time has reminded me of something, the soccer match between Real Madrid vs Man Utd. Now, should I watch that match? Temptation is there, hmm.. but I still haven't decided yet.

1 down, 6 more to go
4-0!!! That was the scoreline as MU beat Liverpool at Old Trafford. Sure, Sammi Hyppia was sent off in the 5th minute, but i definitely think MU deserved to win. Anyhow, it was a victory and a valuable 3 pts. Later on, Arsenal drew 1-1, meaning they are now level with MU!! Yeah..if MU beats Arsenal, they can top the table, provided they don't drop any more pts. I have confidence United can do it, win both the Premiership and Champions League. All the best to them as they face Real Madrid, Newcastle, and Arsenal, all away games, over the next 10 days!

The Center of the Bible
It's pretty strange how this whole thing works out. Quite interesting, actually.

Shortest chapter in the Bible: Psalms 117
Longest chapter in the Bible: Psalms 119
Chapter that is in the center of the Bible: Psalms 118
Fact: There are 594 chapters before Psalms 118, and 594 chapters after Psalms 118. Add these numbers up and you get 1188
Center verse in the Bible: Psalms 118:8. This verse actually says something significant about God's perfect will for our lives.
"It is better to trust in the Lord than to put confidence in man"

Hmm...

ABSOLUTELY stunned!!!
I am left feeling absolutely stunned after watching American Idol. Ok, first of all, there has been a lot going on behind the scenes. Apparently, Trenyce has got a criminal record, and Corey too. I was quite surprised that Corey was booted off the show because of his criminal record, but I guess that's his fault for not telling the producers, although I must say that I'm rather happy he got booted off because I think he just can't sing. Then, after watching the episode (Disco Week, and Simon is worse than ever), I thought either Rickey or Joshua should go. Those three who polled the lowest shocked me. Kimberley, Trenyce (what!!!) and Carmen! I don't think they deserved to be there. I thought Carmen would go because she's like the weakest among the three. Kimberley was rightfully sent back, then left only Trenyce and Carmen. Personally, I thought Trenyce polled quite low because of her criminal record. Anyway, they were each asked to perform one more time to show the people who did not vote for them what they had missed. At this point, I knew something was up. Normally, contestant would only perform after he/she had known that he/she had got booted off. Anyway, then when it was time to announce the results, Ryan just babbled on about how they had lost Corey, and I thought this can't be true.. But it was. No one was booted off. Hmm.. I think they might be trying to save Trenyce, because whoever polled the lowest certainly didn't deserve to be booted off. Oh well, show goes on I guess. Next week will be interesting. Will that mean more people will vote for the three of them to save them? I just hope that Clay (my favourite) will be all right.

Another thing that kinds of surprises me is that England won Turkey 2-0. I'm not trying to sound like I'm underestimating their ability or something. But based on recent performances, I thought England would have problems with Turkey. An insipid 2-0 win over what-the-heck-is-dat-country. I'm pleasantly surprised they won. Haha. Guess it's good news for all England fans (including me).

Pathetic
I think my blog is really quite pathetic. I mean, the layout and everything are just like so....well, pathetic. I am so totally clueless about HTML language. Haha. But then again, I am quite lazy to do the layout and stuff. Heh, so just leave it plain and well, pathetic.

Discipline
And here's a word I'm lacking of. I seem to be wasting my time everyday. Like I know I have something to do, like finishing my homework (which has been piling up since like don't know when), but I don't feel like doing it. End up going online everytime everyday. I also tell myself to sleep earlier (been sleeping very late recently), but end up sleeping at 2, 3 o'clock also. Oh well. I never have self-discipline anyway...

Exhausted
Exhausted is the word for me. Feeling very tired after training just now. I even got sunburnt for playing tennis for like only 2 hours. Can't believe it. Haha. But at least I enjoyed myself. Missed playing tennis.
