I don't know how many times MU have let me down and yesterday was no different. They could only drew 1-1 with Leeds, who are second from the bottom of the table. I was expecting a goalfest actually. And to make matters worse, Arsenal beat Chelsea 2-1 (again). My brother actually dreamt that Gudjohnsen would score a hat-trick and that Chelsea would beat Arsenal 3-1. Obviously...that didn't happen..Gudjohnsen only scored 1 goal and he was sent off later on. I was secretly hoping that his dream would somehow come true. Sigh.. the gap has now increased to 7 points. But I still believe that MU can win the title in the end, even though my youngest brother has given up on them winning. Whereas my other brother who is an Arsenal fan is still gloating...whatever... I hope Ferguson's words can come true..and not Keane's ones. But I must say MU's defence is really lousy now..blame that on Rio.
Anyway..enough on soccer. Had training yesterday. I must say the PT is getting slacker (thankfully). At least we don't have to do those triangles again. But Wahid is giving us more drills, especially volleys (which I hate). I personally prefer to play from baseline. But baseline drills can be horrible too... Never mind, at least now we get to play matches every training. I love playing matches..don't know why.. Anyway, playing matches is quite slack compared to drills.
Thank goodness the brown stains left by the potassium permanganate on my fingers are slowly going away. Anyway, Say It Isn't So is totally stuck in my head. I guess it's maybe partly because everyone seems to be singing the song, but yar..I find myself singing the chorus like all the time. I'm not even a big fan of Gareth Gates. But I think the lyrics of the song are nice. Anyway, I taped the MTV Asia Awards, but somehow the VCR didn't tape. Argh!!! Only managed to watch the last part in which Linkin Park and Blue won and Black Eyed Peas performed because I happened to stay up until quite late that night. Sigh..
