Tired
Today has been one of the most bizarre days of school so far. And it's all because of chem prac. When I was throwing the used filter papers away, I accidentally touched the potassium permanganate that was there. I don't know what else I touched, but when I went back to my bench, I saw that there was a large white patch on my third finger, and also brown stains left by the permanganate. I'm still not sure why there was that white patch. It's the kind you get when you've soaked your finger in water for a long time. I think I must have burned my finger or something. Anyway I had to apply the burn cream. The white patch was gone after that, but until now, those hideous, disgusting large brown stains are still on my fingers. And I can't get rid of them, even after washing my finger tons of times. Sigh.. I hope they'll be gone soon. Anyway, I think I must have also inhaled quite a bit of the pungent, rather poisonous chlorine and sulphur dioxide gases. Feeling a bit sick with headache now.
Anyway, I'm still contemplating whether I should drop Physics 'S'. I thought my mind was pretty set on dropping it, but I guess that's not the case. I wish I can be more decisive. I think I'm like quite gullible...I pretty much believe what everyone says about how slack Physics S is and that dropping it is quite a waste. I've tried to reason it out.. if logic prevails, I should drop it right now. But still, there's that something that's holding me back from doing it. It's like this fear that I may regret dropping it. Oh well.. I've been complaining about Physics S so much that I guess everyone is pretty sick of it. Shall decide soon...hopefully...
I watched Moulin Rouge on Sunday night. Didn't watch the whole movie because I have the DVD; only watched the last half hour. And yes, the ending did bring me to tears. I personally don't like those kind of endings where the protagonists die at the end of the movie. And it's worse if couples are torn apart at the end of the movie, as in the case in Moulin Rouge. Oh well...
COME WHAT MAY (Ewan McGregor and Nicole Kidman)
Never knew I could feel like this
Like I've never seen the sky before
Want to furnish inside your kiss
Everyday I love you more and more
Listen to my heart, can you hear it sing
Telling me to give you everything
Seasons may change, winter to spring
But I love you, until the end of time
Come what may
Come what may
I will love you until my dying day
Suddenly the world seems such a perfect place
Suddenly it moves with such a perfect grace
Suddenly my life doesn't seem such a waste
It all revolves around you
And there's no mountain too high, no river too wide
Sing out this song and I'll be there by your side
Storm clouds may gather and stars may go by
But I love you (I love you), until the end (until the end) of time
Come what may
Come what may
I will love you until my dying day
Oh come what may
Come what may
I will love you (I will love you)
Suddenly the world seems such a perfect place
Come what may
Come what may
I will love you until my dying day
